A new report from the National Cancer Institute calls for re-defining cancer and much more research to try to identify malignancies that are unlikely to cause a problem for the patient, according to the New York Times. Some may be re-named IDLE conditions — an awkward acronym for “indolent lesions of epithelial origin.”
